Deep purple-black in color, the barrel sample of 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Bourn Vineyard opens with expressive black cherries, crushed blackberries, cassis and redcurrants scents plus hints of cigar box, underbrush and iron ore. The palate is medium to full-bodied, firm and grainy with plenty of freshness supporting the earthy layers, finishing on a mineral note.
