Lastly, the 2022 Merlot Beckstoffer Las Amigas Vineyard has a healthy ruby/purple hue to go with medium to full-bodied aromas and flavors of ripe black cherries (as well as some subtle blue fruits), leather, and hints of leafy herbs. It's nicely balanced and certainly appears to be a satisfying, textured 2022 that will drink nicely right out of the gate.
A ripe, nicely rounded example of Carneros Merlot, the 2022 Merlot Beckstoffer Las Amigas offers up notes of red cherries and caramel, plus hints of mocha. It's medium to full-bodied, silky, balanced and supple, with ample length on the finish.
