The 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Georges III Vineyard Empyrean should be a step up over the classic vineyard release, offering a terrific nose of ripe black cherry and blueberry fruits as well as some floral and spicy underbrush notes. It’s medium to full-bodied, has fine tannins, and a good sense of freshness and balance.
Showing less of a lifted, floral character, the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Georges III Empyrean instead delivers more black cherries, baking spices and loamy-dusty earth. Medium to full-bodied, with supple, softly dusty tannins, it finishes long and elegant.
