A single block selection, the 100-case 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Las Piedras Shiverick Reserve is another incredible wine in the lineup, as well as the vintage. Ripe red and blue fruits, graphite, crushed stone, and hints of iron all define the aromatics, and it's tight, compact, and full-bodied on the palate, with thrilling mid-palate depth as well as ripe yet building tannins. While this classic vineyard release has a touch of up-front appeal, this puppy needs to be hidden in the back of the cellar for 7-8 years. Nevertheless, it's sensational juice.
