2022 Perchance Cabernet Sauvignon
Beckstoffer Georges III Vineyard
Jeb Dunnuck 93-95 Points
February 2024

A fair click back from the 2021 but still a beautiful wine in the making, the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Vineyard Georges III Vineyard has lots of red and black cherries, redcurrants, spicy oak, and tobacco notes in its medium to full-bodied, round, lush, fruit-forward profile. It's relatively up-front and ready to go and is going to shine right out of the gate.

While less expressive than the 2021, Perchance's 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Vineyard Georges III is still impressive. Packed with black cherries, it's full-bodied, velvety and open-knit but perhaps just a bit warm on the finish. According to winemaker Mike Smith, it was picked post-heat wave, but the fruit held up really well.
