The 2021 Chardonnay Beckstoffer Carneros Lake Vineyard has an almost Burgundian sense of reduction as well as beautiful ripe stone fruits, mulled pear, almond, and honeyed mineral-like aromas and flavors. It's medium-bodied, has vibrant acidity, and a gorgeous finish. This is hold-onto-your-hats good and should have a decade or so of prime drinking. – JD
