Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2021 Beckstoffer Bourn Cabernet Sauvignon needs a swirl or two to coax out scents of blackcurrant cordial, plum pudding, and cardamom, giving way to hints of pencil shavings, violets, and tilled soil. The full-bodied palate is concentrated with dense black fruit preserves flavors, supported by firm, grainy tannins and a lively line, finishing long and perfumed.
