Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2021 Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon comes barreling out with powerful notes of blackcurrant jelly, ripe plums, and boysenberries, leading to hints of crushed rocks, iron ore, and underbrush with a touch of lavender. The full-bodied palate is densely packed with black fruit and minerally layers, supported by firm, grainy tannins and wonderful tension, finishing on a lingering floral note.
Aged in Tranasaud and Darnajou barrels, it shows super fragrant dusty mineral notes, dried sagebrush, and blackberry fruits with a full-bodied richness divined by expressive minerality, fragrant dried florals, and sweet cedar on an everlasting finish.
