2021 Alpha Omega Cabernet Sauvignon
Beckstoffer Georges III Vineyard

February 2024

The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Georges III Vineyard is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon that was brought up in 60% new French oak. It has a classic Georges III perfume of ripe black and blue fruits, cedar pencil, dried herbs, and a kiss of chalky minerality. Its oak is nicely integrated, it's medium to full-bodied, and it has a supple, elegant mouthfeel and beautiful tannins. This classic 2021 has a touch of an old school Napa-like vibe and, while terrific today, is going to evolve gracefully for two decades. - JD

The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Georges III boasts a wonderful array of red and black cherries on the nose, all underscored by hints of dusty earth. The wine is only medium-bodied (14.4% alcohol), but it's wonderfully silky and expansive in feel, leaving behind a broad wash of soft tannins on the lingering finish. – JC
