Large-scaled, with plum, blackberry and black cherry compote flavors laced together tightly with licorice root and alder threads. The finish is underscored by a nice buried iron note. Pretty well-packed, so a little patience is needed. Best from 2023 through 2036. 150 cases made. – JM

The dense purple-hued 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Nomad Beckstoffer Georges III Vineyard has a deep, concentrated, full-bodied style as well as a singular bouquet of dark currants, nori, iron, black olive, and tobacco. With a wonderful mid-palate, ripe, polished tannins, and a great finish, it’s another remarkable wine in the lineup from this team. – JD
