The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper Vineyard is cut from the same cloth as the Georges III with its darker, herbal, classic style. Tobacco leaf, currants, and earthy notes define the bouquet, and it’s full-bodied and has a tighter, more compact mouthfeel, ripe tannins, and a great finish. I love its sense of elegance and purity, and it’s a gem to drink over the coming 15+. There are 328 cases produced. – JD
