There are 12 barrels of the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Las Piedras, which is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon brought up in 90% new French oak. Dense purple/blue-colored, it has an extraordinary bouquet of crème de cassis, black raspberries, crushed flowers, candied violets, and loamy, rocky earth-like nuances. Massively textured, full-bodied, opulent, and seamless on the palate, this monster of a wine is just about pure perfection in a glass. – JD
