Another just about off-the-charts beauty, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard offers up a full-bodied, structured, flawlessly balanced style as well as lots of blue fruits, notes of violets, flowers, and crushed stone, silky yet building tannins, and a great finish. While this vineyard is a stone’s throw from Dr. Crane, it always yields a more mineral-driven, elegant wine, and this beauty excels on all accounts. I'd be thrilled to drink a bottle any time over the coming 20-25 years. – JD
