Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon The Three Kings opens with bold, expressive scents of fresh red and black plums, black raspberries, redcurrants and dried Mediterranean herbs with hints of pencil lead, damp soil and tree bark. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is chock-full of lively red and black berry flavors, supported by grainy tannins and just enough freshness, finishing with a peppery kick. – LPB
