Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon The OG bursts from the glass with youthfully shy notes of fresh blackcurrants, black cherries and mulberries plus hints of pencil shavings, black soil, iron ore and black olives with a touch of bouquet garni. Full-bodied, the palate delivers taut, muscular, earth-laced black fruits with a firm, grainy texture and background freshness, finishing long and earthy. – LPB
