Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon slowly unfurls to reveal gorgeous notions of plum preserves, blackcurrant cordial and Black Forest cake with suggestions of Chinese five spice, potpourri, fragrant earth and tobacco leaf. The full-bodied palate is decadently fruited with black and blue berry preserves, framed by ripe, velvety tannins and seamless freshness, finishing long and spicy. – LPB
