2018 Alpha Omega Cabernet Sauvignon
Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard
The Wine Advocate 98 Points
November 2020

Sporting a deep garnet-purple color, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr Crane Vineyard is a little youthfully mute at this stage, requiring a bit of swirling to reveal delicate notes of Morello cherries, crushed blackcurrants and fresh blackberries plus suggestions of rusty nails, Indian spices, unsmoked cigars and cedar. The full-bodied palate delivers stylish, impactful black fruit and exotic spice layers, supported by ripe, grainy tannins and seamless freshness, finishing on that signature, lingering mineral note. Very classy. – LPB

From one of the greatest terroirs in Napa Valley, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard shows the classic power and richness of the vineyard as well as a Bordeaux-like bouquet of cassis, tobacco, damp earth, spice, and spring flowers. Flawless on the palate, with full-bodied richness and building, ultra-fine tannins, it has incredible purity of fruit, no hard edges, and is just pure Napa Valley magic. - JD
