The 2017 Nomad Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Las Piedras is deep garnet-purple in color with scents of hoisin stewed plums, blackberry compote and black currant pastilles with baking spices and dried sage. The palate is fullbodied, firm, chewy and rustic with a spicy finish.
From a rockier site not far from Dr. Crane, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon NOMAD Beckstoffer Las Piedras offers a touch more red fruits with notions of red currants, spring flowers, spice, and green tobacco. It's elegant, medium to full-bodied, has a seamless texture, and a great finish. I suspect it will be even better with 3-4 years of bottle age.
