Even better, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper Pangkarra is a barrel selection offering a touch more obvious oak as well as powerful notes of crème de cassis, crushed violets, blood orange, and spice. Concentrated, full-bodied, and powerful, it’s a more backward, unevolved wine that needs 4-5 years or bottle age. – JD
