A barrel sample, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard is deep purple-black colored and gives up expressive notes of crème de cassis, raisin cake, Chinese five spice and dusty soil with a waft of garrigue and dried lavender. The palate is full-bodies, rich and lush with great acidity and a long, spicy finish. – LPB
