Deep purple-black in color, the 2016 Nomad Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Bourn Vineyard displays a whole myriad of earth and mineral-inspired scents—underbrush, fertile loam, truffles, iron ore, wet slate and moss—over a crème de cassis and blackberry preserves core with wafts of potpourri and tobacco. Full-bodied and boldly flavored with black fruit preserves in the mouth, it has a firm, chewy frame and fantastic length.
