2015 The Debate Cabernet Sauvignon
Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper Vineyard

December 2017

Cut from the same cloth, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Missouri Hooper is marginally more open and complex, and offers sensational notes of incense, crème de cassis, dried flowers, vanilla and exotic spice. Sweetly fruited, supple and incredibly sexy, with no hard edges and full-bodied richness, it’s already impossible to resist, yet is going to be even better in 3-4 years and cruise for two decades. – JD

Very deep garnet-purple in color, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Missourri Hopper is youthfully mute, offering glimpses at fresh blueberries, red and black plums and mulberries with hints of underbrush, loam, cedar and cardamom plus a touch of dark chocolate. The palate is wonderfully intense and elegant, revealing fresh berry and earth layers that are superbly supported by very ripe, fine tannins and the right amount of freshness, finishing long with mineral nuances. – LPB
