A barrel sample to be bottled in January 2018, the deep purple-black colored 2015 Janzen Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon gives a characteristically decadent nose of Indian spices and chocolate box with hints of cigar box and menthol over a crème de cassis and blueberry compote core. Full-bodied, concentrated and full-on seductive, it features mouth-filling berry preserves and spice layers, finishing long with some earthy notions coming through. – LPB
