A barrel sample, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Heritage reveals an inky purple-black color and multilayered scents of blackcurrant cordial, blackberry pie and dried mulberries with wafts of potpourri, spice box, fertile loam and licorice. The powerfully fruited, full-bodied palate absolutely packs in the black fruit preserves and spicy layers, supported by a firm foundation of chewy tannins and great freshness, finishing long and earthy. – LPB
