This is in the ultraripe style, with a thick, lush wave of plum, blackberry and fig reduction notes oozing along, laced liberally with warm fig bread, licorice and Turkish coffee accents. Delivers heft rather than purity, but attains definition and focus. Drink now through 2027. 500 cases made. – J.M.
