Another wine from this boutique operation that flirts with perfection, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Magnificent Seven, comes from the seven best barrels in their cellars, and this one emanated from barrels from To Kalon, Dr. Crane and Las Piedras vineyard fruit. It is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, and as you might expect, is a massive wine with great length, beautiful purity, incredible intensity of blue, red and black fruits, licorice, graphite and toast. It is sensationally concentrated and a profound effort in this vintage. It is hard not to be impressed with what Vice Versa is doing.-RP Apparently Vice Versa started in 2003, but this is my first chance to really look at several vintages. To say the least, I was impressed with the wines, although quantities are limited.
