2014 Bacio Divino Cellars Janzen Cabernet Sauvignon
Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper Vineyard
The Wine Advocate 96 Points
October 2017

Very deep garnet-purple colored, the 2014 Janzen Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper Cabernet Sauvignon has a very earthy nose of damp soil, dried leaves, iron ore and mossy bark over a core of black currants and mulberries with a hint of unsmoked tobacco. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is laden with earth and mineral suggestions with a finegrained foundation and plenty of freshness on the epically long finish. 194 cases were made. – LPB

From a site located north of Yountville, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper Vineyard is a heavenly Cabernet Sauvignon that's undeniably Californian in style. Currants, smoked herbs, chocolate, blackberry jam and a touch of minerality all emerge from this beautifully concentrated, textured, balanced beauty that has more mid-palate depth and density than most in the vintage. It will keep for two to three decades. – JD
