B Cellars clearly utilizes some of the best vineyard sources in Napa Valley, many of them owned by the Beckstoffer family. Take for example the 2014 Cabernet Franc Beckstoffer Dr. Crane Vineyard. This is a gorgeous wine scheduled to be bottled in about three months that offers up intense blueberry notes with white flowers, crushed rock and, again, is somewhat La Mission Haut-Brion in a Napa perfume and flavor profile. This is a gorgeous, opulent, medium to full-bodied wine, but is delicate and ethereal in the mouth. This is a stunner to drink when released and should keep nicely for 10-15 years.-RP B Cellars is a high-quality producer that makes a relatively large range of wines utilizing some of the top single, first-growth vineyards in Napa while also producing enticing and creative less-expensive blended wines. Kudos to B Cellars. This is a winery that has clearly jumped into the upper echelon of Napa producers and merits very serious attention from Wine Advocate subscribers.
