2014 Alpha Omega Cabernet Sauvignon
Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard

The 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard comes from a warmer vineyard in St Helena (it’s one of the original vineyards of the region) and offers a straight-up classic, textbook style in its crème de cassis, white chocolate, blueberry, Asian spice and hints of leafy herbs. Full-bodied, elegant, and seamless on the palate, it stays straight and focused, with ripe tannin, good acidity, and a clean finish. Drink it anytime over the coming two decades. - JD

Another Beckstoffer site, the 2014 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard exhibits great fruit, not quite the body and intensity of the Missouri Hopper or the To Kalon, but it is still a full-bodied, elegant, mineral-laced wine with blueberry and black raspberry fruit, decent acidity, and light tannin. It should be drunk over the next 20 years.- RP
