The gorgeous 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Blind Justice from the Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard spent 18 months in 100% French oak. This is no shy wine at 15.7% alcohol that’s well hidden by the wealth and extravagant levels of fruit extract. Dense ruby/purple with classic licorice and black currant liqueur and blackberry fruit, the wine is full-bodied and opulent with voluptuous texture, beautiful purity and a long finish. It is accessible already and should continue to drink well for 20-25 years.-RP
