More tannic, and showing signs of road tar, truffles, black fruits, and a burly, full-bodied personality is the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Georges III Vineyard. This big wine is still unformed, and is not revealing the finesse of the Ehrlich, but it is “locked and loaded,” and should turn out to be an outstanding Cabernet Sauvignon. A dizzying array of wines from B Cellars are all barrel samples, including the red 2012s. - RP
