The perfumed, exceptionally rich, black/purple-colored 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper Vineyard exhibits Haut-Brion-like notes of scorched earth, crème de cassis, black cherries and a gravelly underpinning that gives it a subtle earthiness. Full-bodied and rich, this stunningly profound Cabernet Sauvignon should be drinkable in 3-4 years and keep for 20 years thereafter. A dizzying array of wines from B Cellars are all barrel samples, including the red 2012s. -RP
