The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon is quite a bit different from previous vintages. The poor Cabernet Sauvignon set resulted in a higher percentage than normal of Cabernet Franc, which brings with it an exotic range of aromas and flavors. Tar, licorice and waves of dark fruit are some of the notes that take shape in the glass. This is going to be a fascinating wine to follow. Anticipated maturity: 2016-2026. (Not yet released) - AG
