Seeming proof that hand sorting can help yield an unusually generous and complex wine, the most aromatic and longest of the 13 tasted. While the 2011's generally were lighter than usual, the season couldn't have been more normal. It's also rare in that it can be appreciated at the table now, though it also will be no less dependable after a decade or so in the cellar. - Mike Dunne
