The fruity, soft 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon The Grand Daddy is somewhat lightweight for a To Kalon effort, but it is attractive in a restrained, lower-keyed manner. It should drink well for 10 years For a number of years, this has been one of most impressive portfolios in Napa Valley, and as one might expect, the 2010s are outrageous offerings..-RP

Offers a ripe, appealing, direct and rich fruitiness, built around blackberry, cherry and wild berry flavors, turning to cassis and dried herb notes, with touches of cedar and black licorice on the finish. The tannins are ripe and integrated. Drink now through 2022. 76 cases made. –JL
