As one might expect, the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard confirms the quality of those who believe this might be the single finest terroir in all of Napa Valley. Crėme de cassis, licorice, underbrush, unsmoked high quality cigar tobacco and subtle background wood notes jump from the glass of this inky/purplecolored wine. Rich and full-bodied with candied tannins, stunning layers and impressive purity, this killer wine can be drunk now (if you believe in infanticide), but promises to gain in stature, gravitas and complexity for 10-15 years, and last for at least three decades. - RP
