A beguiling melange of mocha, espresso, grilled herbs and violets emerges from the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon Missouri Hopper. Layers of sweet expressive fruit flow from this effortless gracious wine. All the elements are in place. A super racy, gorgeous finish rounds things out in style. Anticipated maturity: 2014-2024. I was deeply impressed with the wines I tasted from Alpha Omega this year. The estate’s Cabernets are rich and full-bodied, yet also express plenty of site-specific character. - AG
