2007 B Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon
Beckstoffer Georges III Vineyard
The Wine Advocate 93 Points
December 2010

The only 2007 I tasted was the 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Georges III. This Rutherford vineyard was made famous under the old regime of Beaulieu as it was the backbone of many of their great Private Reserve Cabernets. Its dense ruby/purple color is followed by notes of loamy soil, black currants and cedar. With terrific purity, richness and length, it is a full-bodied, exuberant, gorgeously rich Cabernet Sauvignon to enjoy over the next 15+ years. It is also an excellent bargain at this price.
