The gorgeous 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard possesses the finest aromatics of all the 2006s. Aromas of flowers, spice box, cedarwood, black currants, new saddle leather, and smoky oak are followed by a beautifully textured, full-bodied wine with a lot of tannin, but also considerable concentration and depth. While it seems more evolved aromatically, in the mouth it appears another 2 years of bottle age would be helpful. This beauty should evolve for 20-25+ years.
