Ripe and plump, with fleshy, concentrated plum, blackberry and wild berry fruit that’s fleshy. The tannins are ripe and firm, with the fruit pushing through on the finish. – J. L.
Smooth, rich and fleshy, with layers of black cherry, plum and wild berry flavors that are shaded by a touch of toasty, cedary oak. Ends with a long, supple, elegant aftertaste. Drink now through 2013. Tasted twice, with consistent notes. 280 cases made. –J.L.
