A new offering is the limited production 2004 Janzen Cabernet Sauvignon from the famed To Kalon Vineyard. It boasts superb crème de cassis notes intermixed with notions of acacia flowers, new oak, and spice. Low in acidity, but ripe, rich, and concentrated, this looks to be an outstanding Cabernet Sauvignon that should drink well young yet age for 10-15 years. (not yet released)

Bacio Divino’s Cabernet Sauvignon program is just getting off the ground. The 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon To Kalon Vineyard is a 400-case cuvée that has barely budged since I reviewed it last year. Its deep ruby/purple color is followed by notes of cassis, cedar, licorice, and a Pauillac-like purity and full-bodied, structured style
