Kirk Venge, son of famed winemaker Nils Venge, is the winemaker for this new project. The winery’s focus is blending juice from different vineyards and varietals. The B in their name stands for Brix, a measurement of potential alcohol in grape juice. AROMA currant, raspberry, pencil shavings 14; FLAVOR red currant, wet soil, pencil shavings, 14; STRUCTURE full, rich, structured 13; LENGTH acid present, lingering spice, tannin, fruit 15; BALANCE big fruit complimented by spice, earth 38 – Total 94 points.
