This version tames its intense tannins with an overlay of creamy, mocha-scented oak. The core is deep, rich and concentrated with dark berry, currant, plum and cassis flavors. Sails along on the finish, even with the tannins. Best from 2021 through 2034. 450 cases made. – J.L
