The outstanding 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer To Kalon is softer and less substantial than the 2010, but it is loaded with blue and black fruits, white chocolate, espresso roast and lead pencil shaving-like notes. The tannins are soft and unobtrusive in this fleshy, succulent, sensual red. This 2011 should drink beautifully over the next decade and initially, many readers may prefer it to the bigger, more authoritative 2010. - RP

Exotic spices, plums and graphite are some of the nuances that emerge from a wine that impresses for its authoritative personality. The 2011 is going to be a lot of fun to follow.
