The flagship from this great estate, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon The Magnificent Seven is a mix of To Kalon, Dr. Crane, and Las Piedras. A more perfumed, complex wine compared to the powerful, dense Dr. Crane release, it has a stunning bouquet of crème de cassis, black raspberries, spring flowers, incense, smoked tobacco, and gravelly earth. Full-bodied, deep, and concentrated, with a chalky sense of minerality, it's flawlessly balanced, has building tannins, a great mid-palate, and a finish that won't quit. It needs a good 4-5 years of bottle age and will evolve for 25 years. – JD
