The 2018 Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is deep garnet-purple in color. Profound notions of cassis, blackberry compote, and plum preserves leap from the glass, followed by hints of menthol, fragrant earth, charcuterie, and truffles. Big, rich, full-bodied, plush, multi-layered, and long, long, long, this is an epic Missouri Hopper and right up there with the best I've tasted.
