Black cherries meet gentle notes of dusty earth and dried sage on the nose of the 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Georges III (previously known as Grape Culture's GIII). A medium to full-bodied wine, it's nicely textured—not quite silky, not quite velvety—with decent length. Unfortunately, like several of the wines I tasted on my last foray into Napa, it doesn't quite reach the heights scaled by the 2021 vintage.
