The 2010 Proprietary Frontier Justice Beckstoffer Dr. Crane/To Kalon Vineyard is a blend of 70% Cabernet Franc and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon. Another big-time winner from Bounty Hunter Rare Wine, it is slightly more reserved than the Blind Justice, but very complex and elegant with mulberry, blueberry and foresty notes intermixed with hints of graphite and new oak, sweet tannin, medium to full body, and tremendous fruit, purity and presence. This beauty should drink well for 12-15 years. This innovative project from a California wine retailer brings the 19th century Old West’s morals and standards of conduct to some of Napa Valley’s great vineyards..-RP
